Note: A fairly recent discovery of facet-quality orangy brown Calcite in Namibia is producing large clean gems. Too soft for any practical jewelry purpose this is mainly a collector's stone. Clean and transparent colored Calcite is rare in nature. Expect this material to be short-lived on the market.
